The six shortlisted sculptors for the Emmeline Pankhurst statue project are about to unveil their designs.
This will take place beginning in London at the Houses of Parliament on Monday, 27th February. Then they head to HOME in Manchester on the afternoon of Thursday, 2nd March for a question and answer session. The following day the maquettes go on display at Manchester Town Hall’s Council meeting.
And on the morning of Saturday, 4th March, the models will be on display at the Sculpture Hall cafe in the Town Hall.
Finally the maquettes will be auctioned at a fundraising dinner on Thursday 9th March – this event is sold out.
